The Golf country came basically in 3 versions.
Golf Country “normal version”
-4 doors
-Partially tinted rear light
-White lights in front, side turn signals
-Reinforced shock absorbers and springs
-Engine skidplate
-Front bushbar
-Rock protection guards for main, auxillary and fog lights
-Rear spare wheel
-Alloys wheel 6Jx15 with 195/60 R15 tire
– Some other colors has been seen as silver, pearl grey met, royal blue, white, yellow and orange.
– Price until 08/1990 : 33,225 DM
– Price until 03/1991 : 34,335 DM
Golf Country “allround version”
– Because the Golf Country was too expensive, VW decide in July 1990 to make a ‘lite Country’. The
only color available was Forest green and the interior with a simili black leather. The steel wheels replaced
the alloys one.
– Price until 08/1990 : 31,825 DM
– Price until 03/1991 : 32,890 DM
Golf Country ” Chrome edition “
– In the beginning of 1991 , a very special version of the country appear. The Chrom version production
has been done in a limitted number ; only 500 has been built.

-Chromed steel wheel 7Jx15 with tire 205/60/R15
-Black roof rails
-Leather interior
